It is the season of graduation and be it your nephew, niece
or neighbor a gift is in order. Cash seems to be the go to gift for most but I
personally do not like cash as a gift (unless it is a substantial amount –ha)
nor do I like giving it. So here are my go-to graduating gift ideas.
- Gift certificate to their college
bookstore or if graduating college grocery store in the area of their new
location.
- College sweatshirt or any college
“bling” – Easily purchased via school website or city sweatshirt or “bling” to
new location city
- Cold weather basket: Blanket, hot chocolate mix, hotpot
- Game Night: Assorted small games
for dorm night in – does that even happen?
- Amazon Echo – I love this baby
- Scooter – This is a must on some
college campuses
- Music or video streaming service –
Most kiddos might already have this but it may be tied to their parents
account.
- Noise canceling Headphones – I am
telling you it is a great gift for noisy dorms!
- Special books like: Jim Ryan’s
“Wait, what?” or the all-time classic “The Places you’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss.
- A multi-tool – I am talking one of those gadgets that has a blade, a screwdriver, a bottle opener, pliers and more all in one little device.
