This is a great project for kids and actually for any adult who is interested in decorating their house for fall or for the holidays.
All you need is a wooden birdhouse, which is sold year round at most craft stores.
Depending on what holiday you are going to decorate your birdhouse for - spray paint it either brown, black or white.
Go for a nice hike and collect mini pine cones, acorns, or any additional finds.
You can use glue or frosting to affix all the goodies onto your house.
When the season comes to an end simply wash off all the decorations and use for another season or holiday.
