TIPS & TRICKS: TOP 10 BEST PANCAKE OPTIONS

I think you are either a pancake person or you are not. I will fess up I am not. I am a waffle person. However give me a pancake that is stuffed or made with or topped with a helping of anything and I am all over it!

If you are the same way or just interested in jazzing up your Sunday breakfast take a look at my Top 10 Best Pancake Options.
  1. Banana Pancakes
Just slice and add to the pancake as it is grilling or add to the batter mushed up.
  2. Fruit Cakes
Fruit cakes are my family’s name for pancakes with a whole bunch of fruit mixed into the pancakes. You can also use fruit jams.
  3. Apple Cinnamon
Sauté the apples and cinnamon before placing them on top of the pancakes. The house will smell wonderful.
  4. Peanut Butter and Jelly
Sounds weird but it is so good. The best way to tackle this recipe is to add jam to your batter and make a sweet mixture of peanut butter and maple syrup.
  5. Chocolate Chip
My daughters favorite! Just add chocolate, white chocolate or butterscotch chips to the pancake batter.
  6. Bacon
It is the merging of the ultimate salty and sweet. Cook up some bacon before hand and either add to your pancake batter or the maple syrup.
  7. Lemon Poppy Seed
Lemon extract and poppy seeds added to the batter make a great taste combo. It is strangely kind of refreshing.
  8. Colored
Kids are suckers for this pancake. No taste difference just a visual one! Add food coloring to each pancake as they cook or to the batter as a whole.
  9. Blueberry
A classic. Do I need to say more?
  10. Pecan Brown Sugar
The best for last. I am a lover of anything brown sugar, now add pecans and I am in heaven.
