COOKING: THE ALL TIME BEST SLOW COOKED RIBS

I will not claim that this recipe is close to Redbone’s ribs but it is really really good. It takes a long time to cook but your house smells wonderful during the process and by the time the ribs are ready your stomach will be begging for them!

Ingredients
  • 2 ½ lbs baby back pork ribs
  • Salt & pepper
  • BBQ Sauce

What to Do
  1. Preheat oven to 275
  2. Season both sides of the ribs with salt and pepper and place (meat-side up) the ribs into a large roasting pan.
  3. Here is the most important step: Wrap the ribs tightly with aluminum foil. Not cover, not loose but wrap the ribs tightly with tin foil.
  4. Bake 3 to 4 hours.
  5. Remove the ribs from the oven and toss the aluminum foil.
  6. Brush both sides with your favorite BBQ sauce and move the oven rack near to the top of the oven. Turn broiler to high and broil the ribs for 1-2 minutes, just until the barbecue sauce begins to caramelize.

Serve this meal with roasted potatoes and salad.
