I will not
claim that this recipe is close to Redbone’s ribs but it is really really good.
It takes a long time to cook but your house smells wonderful during the process
and by the time the ribs are ready your stomach will be begging for them!
Ingredients
- 2 ½ lbs baby back pork ribs
- Salt & pepper
- BBQ Sauce
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 275
- Season both sides of the ribs with salt and pepper and place (meat-side up) the ribs into a large roasting pan.
- Here is the most important step: Wrap the ribs tightly with aluminum foil. Not cover, not loose but wrap the ribs tightly with tin foil.
- Bake 3 to 4 hours.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and toss the aluminum foil.
- Brush both sides with your favorite BBQ sauce and move the oven rack near to the top of the oven. Turn broiler to high and broil the ribs for 1-2 minutes, just until the barbecue sauce begins to caramelize.
Serve this meal with roasted potatoes and salad.
