DAY TRIP: FLUFF FESTIVAL


A festival dedicated to food has always been a big draw for me, but a festival honoring a specific wonderfully evil tasty treat such as Fluff just pushes me over the edge! What could be better than already softened marshmallow goodness in a jar?

 Invented in 1917 by Archibald Query “The What the Fluff” festival pays tribute to the man and the food. This annual festival takes place mid-September in Union Square Sommerville, MA .

“The What the Fluff” festival is a unique blend of the fun, the quirky and the delicious! There are musical performances, Fluff treats and activates such as “Fluff Jousting” and the “Fluff Lick off”. It is estimated that over 15,000 people attend and whether you are a Fluff lover or not this festival is a must go to adventure.
