A baked potato is on my personal list of ultimate foods. It
shares this space with ice cream on a cone and soup in a bread bowl. I love
meals that the container in which it is held can be consumed along with it! A baked potato fits the bill from the yummy inside all the way to the delectable
outside.
The truth is baked potatoes are easy to make and easy to “jazz up”. Simply bake a
batch of potatoes and set out:
The Basics
- Butter
- Sour cream
- Shredded cheese
- Salt & pepper
Jazzy it Up:
- Cream cheese
- Olive oil
- Blue Cheese or Colby
- Olives
- Sauteed veggies
To Make it a Meal:
- Shredded chicken or beef
- Pulled pork
- Lentils
